Accomodation Letter from Isabel Haffer:

Dear brothers and sisters,

 

The workshop is taking place in my big private house in the southwest of Karlsruhe at the edge of the town. 

Address: Staufenbergweg 19 a, 76189 Karlsruhe

 

From the main station you get easily to my house with bus number 62. The bus needs 15 minutes. Bus stop: Bernsteinstraße. Then 3 -  4 minutes walking. There ist a bus each 20 minutes. 

 

In the house there is a big group room of more than 40 m2, where up to 28 people can take a seat. There ist another room for eating, a kitchen, where it is possible to prepare food. There ist everything you usually have in a kitchen. There are 6 bedrooms with 1 - 4 beds in it, two bathrooms and 3 toilets on three floors. 

 

If you want your own room and your own bathroom, there ist a hotel "Beim Schupi". You can walk there in 30 minutes or can go there by bus oder with your car. 

 

The house has terrace and a garden where you can sit and eat outside. In 5 minutes you can walk to the wood. There it is nice to go a walk or to go jogging. 

 

In about 15 minutes you can go by bike to a lake where you can go swimming. By car you are even quicker. 

 

We ear shared meals. If possible everybody brings some already prepared food he/she likes to share like salad, soup, cake, finger food and so on. And also everything else which you want like coffee, tea, milk, oatmilk, fruits, vegetables, bread, chees, butter and so on.

 

In some minutes walk there are a Greek and a German restaurant.

 

In you want to buy anything, there is a supermarket (HIT), a discounter (Aldi) and a health food shop (Denn's) in 10 minutes to walk. You can get there also by bus. Very close to the house is a bakery. 

 

People who sleep in the house and come with a car please bring everything needed for the bed (pillow, blanket and a sheet 0,90 x 2,00m), if it is possible. Also pease bring towels. If you can't bring pillow and blanket, please bring bedlinen. If that is too difficult just tell me and I give you what you need. 

 

As a financial compensation please give 10 - 20 for each day for the organisation of the workshop and for using the rooms for the group. Additional I ask you for each night to give 20 - 40 €.
