Introducing my Book Trilogy
on "A Course in Miracles" and the work of Dr. Kenneth Wapnick.
I'm delighted to introduce my debut book, “The Eternal Within,” and its subsequent sequels. This series aims to distill the wisdom I gleaned from Dr. Kenneth Wapnick into a structured format accessible even to newcomers. However, this accessibility doesn't diminish its value for advanced students of the Course. I firmly believe that the wisdom found in the Course offers profound solutions to every conflict we encounter. It’s just that we don’t always understand how it translates to our challenges “here.” Through my books and teachings, I endeavor to demonstrate this useability by “translating” the teaching, allowing us to fully appreciate the Course for what it is and, hopefully, go all the way Home. This trilogy delves into the true nature of problems and conflicts, thus challenging prevailing problem-solving approaches. While each book specializes in different themes, they are interwoven in the greater symphony that is ACIM. Together, they provide a comprehensive guide to understanding the vast teachings of “A Course in Miracles,” complemented by Dr. Wapnick's invaluable insights.
“The Eternal Within" serves as the foundation for understanding the principles of ACIM. It’s crucial to grasp the core concepts and theories before being more practically focused on them. The chapters delve into the complexities of the ego and its mechanisms, initially seeming dark and serious. However, as readers progress, they will find that the spiritual journey is simple and light-hearted (although not easy). The key to advancement lies in adopting a gentle and uncomplicated approach, despite the ego's seemingly intricate and imprisoning nature.
The second book in the trilogy shifts the focus from theory to what we encounter in our everyday practice. Equipped with an understanding of the Course’s concepts, readers are now guided on how to apply these principles in their daily lives. Even though forgiveness has been explained in the previous book, we now focus on the practical challenges on the journey, such as resistance, and go into greater detail on some of the hardships. We also dwell on more advanced subjects such as specialness and special relationships.
The final book in the trilogy tackles the challenge of integrating spirituality into the more "earthly" aspects of our daily lives. It addresses practical issues such as decision-making, time management, financial considerations, and dealing with anxiety. The emphasis here is on how to translate these challenges into being an issue of the mind without resorting to typical self-help strategies that often involve different and complex steps. This is about understanding where Jesus would have us look instead. This book offers practical knowledge on how to integrate the principles of ACIM into every aspect of life, ensuring that the understanding gained from the first two books is fully implemented in daily practice.
My trilogy, beginning with "The Eternal Within," offers a bridge from theoretical understanding to practical application of how Jesus asks us to live with Him. By addressing the complexities of the ego, the hurdles on the spiritual path, and knowing how to see beyond earthly concerns, this series provides a comprehensive guide for those seeking to undo the ego. I want students of the Course to have an understanding of how they can bring every conflict to the higher light within our dissociated Selves, which is the Holy Spirit. I seek to give you, the reader, that clarity and confidence in Jesus’ teachings.
